DALLAS, TEXAS – Karen Noseff Aldridge, founder, President and CEO of Rebel Athletic Inc, announced an upcoming launch of Rebel Gymnastics, the first company to bring the fashion-industry’s design, manufacturing and service model to competitive gymnasts across America. This Spring, Rebel Gymnastics will debut a unique line of custom, competitive leotards, specialty warm ups, and practice apparel for the gymnastics market.
Rebel’s business model aims to provide an increased level of product choice, customization, design intricacy, service and value to their customers by designing in Dallas, Texas and manufacturing in their own vertically integrated off-shore factory.
“We have put a tremendous amount of time, development and preparation into creating this line. We’ve developed proprietary fabrics, elastics and construction methods, and created a new leotard fit we believe to be more functional, more comfortable and more technically advanced than what is available in the market today. Our focus is not only on fit and fabrics, but design innovation. We consciously and consistently aim to create products that break design boundaries, with an emphasis on hyper-detail, intricacy of design and bringing to life our customer’s vision.” – Karen Aldridge
When Karen founded Rebel Athletic Inc in 2012, she brought her fashion industry experience to the world of Allstar cheerleading; and in three years, established Rebel as the industry’s fastest growing brand. The Rebel Customer Charter, which emphasizes exceeding customers’ expectations at every level in terms of design, quality, choice, value and service, will carry over to Rebel Gymnastics.
“We prototype and fit every design we create on live models (gymnasts) because we want to make sure every design works. That’s how the fashion industry does it and that’s how we do it too. We provide a free prototype of every custom or couture leotard and warm-up to every customer. We want our customers to see the quality and fit of their product before they commit to ordering. Gymnastics performance wear is such a specialized product, so we believe this is a very important part of the process.” – Karen Aldridge
Ray Lyons, women’s gymnastics official, coach, former gymnastics school owner and 25 year veteran of the gymnastics community will represent Rebel Gymnastics as a Senior Account Manager, bringing expert industry knowledge and service to Rebel Gymnastics customers. Lyons said, “I am very excited to bring such a tremendous quality product offering to my community of gymnastics professionals. I look forward to exceeding their expectations with Rebel in 2015.”
Rebel Gymnastics has already beta launched with a few programs during their product development stage.
“It was an all-around great experience working with Rebel Athletic on our Kent State team leotards this year. They were open to all possibilities and visions that I had. I am excited about this company expanding into gymnastics leotards. I have seen what Rebel can do with cheerleading uniforms and the possibility for originality is endless. We are already working on designs for next years’ leotards.” – Sharon Sabin, Kent State University
The line officially launches in the Spring of 2015, with a sales and design team to support a full catalog of offerings.
